British UFO Hacker Ordered Extradited to US

Britain’s top court on Wednesday refused to block the extradition of a British hacker accused of breaking into military and NASA computers in the U.S. The accused hacker says he broke into the systems on a quest for information about UFOs.Gary McKinnon, 42, faces charges in the U.S. for a series of alleged cyberattacks. He allegedly stole passwords, attacked military networks, and caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in computer damage.

Britain’s House of Lords, the equivalent of the U.S. Supreme Court, handed down the decision. It was McKinnon’s last hope in British courts to avoid extradition to the U.S. for trial. However, the Associated Press reported that McKinnon’s attorney plans to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France.
