The Wonderful World of Blogs

March 2nd, 2006

Blogs.

I’ve written plenty of stories about them.

I’ve read plenty of bloggers’ sites – both the valuable insights and the superfluous rants.

I’ve seen the phenomenon grow. The blogosphere is over 60 times bigger today than it was just three years ago, according to Technorati, a firm that tracks 27.2 million blogs.

I’ve watched Corporate America set out to exploit blogs’ marketing potential (read: retailers who cement relationships with customers and attorneys who seek to show off their expertise). And I’ve witnessed the ugly side of this online medium, namely the lambasting tyrants with an ax to grind.

The bottom line is blogging is here to stay. So, being a writer in the 21st century, I figured it was about time to make my mark on the blogosphere.

“King Content Blog” will feature relevant content about relevant content. I’ll share with you my take on what’s going on in media and how it impacts word consumers. I’ll interview experts who will share secrets about how to get the biggest bang for your communications buck. I’ll even answer your questions about the wonderful world of words.

So be sure to sign up for my RSS feed so you won’t forget to check in when a new post goes live.
